 RN to BSN

COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Mississippi University for Women’s RN to BSN program recently received a top ranking in the “Best RN to BSN Programs for 2017.”

Ranking The W at No. 3, the top 50 ranking was produced by rntobsnonlineprogram.com, a site dedicated to connect nurses with the degree programs and feature the best RN to BSN programs online from all across the nation. The site looked at programs that combine both online learning and face-to-face instruction.

“We are honored to have our RN to BSN program recognized nationally for its excellence. The program has an outstanding group of administrators, faculty and staff. They are committed to ensuring the students in the program receive the personal attention needed to be successful,” said Dr. Shelia Adams, dean of the College of Nursing & Health Sciences.

The online ranking highlighted the university’s accreditation, affordability, the length of program and location, stating that The W is “truly one of the nation’s elite, offering students a flexible hybrid RN to BSN curriculum allowing them to work remotely when necessary.

The W’s RN/BSN Advanced Placement Option is designed for the working registered nurse who is interested in a flexible learning option to obtain a baccalaureate degree. The W offers both a partial distance option and total distance option based on the student’s needs. The RN/BSN Advanced Placement Option is housed at The W's Tupelo Campus.
