Domitrz

COLUMBUS, Miss. – Issues revolving around intimacy and dating seem to be in the headlines daily. Mike Domitrz, entertainer, author and comedian, will answer questions about those topics and more this evening on the campus of Mississippi University for Women.

Domitrz, critically acclaimed author and the founder of The DATE SAFE Project, will present “Can I Kiss You?” Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. in Parkinson Hall, Nissan Auditorium. The program is being hosted by The W’s Counseling Center.

“This event is very important for students. The speaker delivers a powerful message that opens discussion about consent,” said Sirena Cantrell, dean of students.

From his background in entertainment, Domitrz brings a fun, interactive and thought-provoking program that focuses on why asking first makes all the difference. By advising words to use and strategies for handling situations in which someone says, “No” to you, Domitrz offers ways to impact the lives of others.

This event is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the community.
