The lot is the first of several project planned for the 2014 Fiscal Year, which started July 1st.  The projected is funded through the state appropriations bill, which provided The W with $345,150 in restricted funds for capital improvements on campus.

"This project will provide a more stable  surface, improve the appearance of our campus, and increase the number of parking spaces," said Nora Miller, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for Administration.

Construction begins July 25 and is expected last until early fall semester.

Students are advised to allow for additional time to locate parking while this lot is out of service.
