The theme for this year's symposium is "Telling Stories, Charting a Future: 'Coming to the end of the road… the jumping-off place'" It is inspired by Eudora Welty's story "No Place for You, My Love" from The Bride of Innisfallen and Other Stories.
All sessions will be held in Rent Auditorium of Whitfield Hall and live-streamed for those who can't attend in person.

author of Village Prodigies
Rodney Jones is Professor of English at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He grew up in a small town in Alabama, much like Cold Springs, the setting of his latest collection, Village Prodigies, a novel in verse. Jones is the author of 10 books of poetry including Things that Happen Once, Elegy for the Southern Drawl, Kingdom of the Instant, Imaginary Logic, and Salvations Blues.
