When Price Hughes was planning for his future he had one requirement, he wanted to attend a university close to home.
“I was born and raised right here in Columbus. I attended high school at Heritage Academy. I decided to attend The W so that I could be close to home,” said Hughes. “The decision could not have been easier.”
Now a senior communication major at The W, Hughes said he did his research to learn more about the university. “I didn’t really know what to expect from The W; however, it’s safe to say that it has exceeded my every expectation.”
Price said the supportive faculty has made a significant difference in making sure he graduated into a career he would love. “Drs. Barry and Melissa Smith in the communication department helped save my goal of a higher education,” said Hughes.
“Going to The W is one of the best decisions I have ever made,” he said. “I would make the decision to attend The W over and over again without hesitation.”
Price plans to graduate in 2019 and continue his career in public relations and marketing.
