COLUMBUS, Miss.-- The Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC) recently awarded $5,000 fellowships to Mississippi University for Women’s Dr. Julia Mortyakova and Thomas K. Lee as well as a grant to support the 2022 International Annual Music by Women Festival.
COLUMBUS, Miss.--The W’s music department will present a virtual recital Friday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature senior music major Ayari Taylor performing songs and arias by Mozart, Paisiello, Ponce, Rodrigo and Schubert, plus concert spirituals and the world premiere of a new vocal work by MUW composition student Hannah Heaton.
