Additional Information

Dr. Durst taught in Lowndes County K12 schools and worked in Distance Education at Mississippi State University before joining the faculty of the School of Education at MUW.  The cognitive process of learning has always been an area of interest for Dr. Durst, but the growing platform of online learning piqued her interest as an area of research.  Her doctoral dissertation research focused on effective practices to support undergraduate students in their online learning programs.
