LEPCOLUMBUS, Miss. – The W's Center for Creative Learning will offer 39 non-credit courses as part of its community Life Enrichment Program this fall.

Classes will include Latin, technology, Shakespearean plays and fitness, to name a few.

Classes, which start Aug. 12-Nov. 15, meet once a week for one to two hours over two terms. They are held during the day, early evening and Saturday mornings.

Courses in the Life Enrichment Program are taught by volunteers from the community who are experts in their field. The fee for each term is $35, which allows participants to take up to five courses each term. Class sizes are limited by the space available.

Debbie Swartz, Life Enrichment Program coordinator, attributes the success of the program to dedicated volunteer instructors and community support.

She added, “The Life Enrichment Program on campus and in the Columbus community has seen tremendous growth.  We have gone from two terms a year to six terms a year.  Everyone who participants in classes enjoys learning and is eager to see what the next LEP term has to offer.”
