Public Health Education
Public Health is the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health.
The Public Health Education Program at The W is offered fully online and develops professionals who work to promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health in the public and private sectors and at the local, state, and federal levels.
Because of the public health concerns in recent years, the need for more public health professionals has become evident. Public Health professionals at the entry level will actively ensure that local, state, and federal health initiatives are implemented effectively.

Transfer Students
Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education
Bachelors of Science in Public Health Education is designed for students who are entering a freshman or a junior transfering with an AA or AS degree. The program will accept up to 62 hours of community college credit hours towards the bachelor's degree.
Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Health Education
Bachelors of Applied Science in Public Health Education is designed for students have completed the AAS in an Allied Health (e.g. PTA, OTA, ASN, etc). The program will accept up to 43 career/technical credits towards the bachelor's degree.
