The W welcomes you to the 2019 Merit Badge University. We offer Scouts 14 Merit Badges, 6 of them required for Eagle Scout, and all can be completed during the Merit Badge University (MBU) session. For some badges, this will require pre-class work, as well as lots work and attention to task during the session. Classes are intentionally kept small to maintain quality, and led by MUW and MSU Staff and Faculty, and community leaders, who are experts in their field. Pre-registration is CLOSED.

The registration fee is $20 per Scout. The registration fee includes insurance, venue cost, supplies needed for classes, and lunch. For all parents and Scout Leaders, the cost for lunch is $10.00. (Anyone who wishes to eat lunch must register in advance.)We ask that you complete the online registration form. Due to popularity, some classes may fill up quickly. Scouts who register early have the best chance of getting the classes they want. Pre-registration is CLOSED.
If you are pre-registering: please complete the online form and bring payment with you to the event.
MBU will provide blue merit badge cards and lunch for each registered scout. Scouts will need to complete the pre-course requirements for their selected badge, and bring evidence of those completed requirements to MBU. Each Scout also will need to bring a copy of the Merit Badge Worksheet (pdfs provided) and note taking material to the course.
This is a Scouts BSA event and we ask each troop to provide two adults, as outlined in the Youth Protection Guidelines. In addition, we ask that Scouts wear Class A uniforms with shirts tucked in.

3:35 – 4:00 P.M. Closing and Dismissal in Limbert Assembly Room of Cochran Hall
Street parking is available on College Street and throughout the campus. Please do not park in the large lot to the right of Cochran Hall as those are spaces for campus residents.
From Highway 82 –
Take the Main Street/MUW Exit
Merge onto Main Street (left lane), following the signs for Downtown Columbus
Continue straight on Main Street
Turn RIGHT onto S. 12th Street
Turn LEFT on the first cross street onto College Street
Turn RIGHT and pass through the MUW Security Gate to enter campus
Turn either RIGHT or LEFT at the first cross street to locate parking in GREEN (street or lot) or WHITE (street) spaces.
