Peer Mentoring
Peer Mentors
Peer mentors are a free resource for all students at the W. There are mentors for multiple subject areas available for live mentoring sessions or via zoom upon request. To get started, find the subject you wish to set up a mentoring session for, check the mentor's hours of availability and drop in to their scheduled library hours in the lobby of the Fant Memorial Library.

Taylor Bennett - Anatomy and Physiology
Hello, my name is Taylor Bennett. I am from Fulton, Mississippi. I am a sophomore and a nursing major here at the W. I enjoy reading and spending time with friends. I am excited to meet other students and to be able to give them advice on college life.

Audrey Mitchell – Intermediate Math / College Algebra
Hi, My name is Audrey Mitchell. I am a sophomore Secondary Mathematics Education Major from Amory, Mississippi. In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with my friends and family. I am so happy to be a peer mentor this semester because I have always loved helping others achieve their goals.

Seline Decoteau – Accounting/Economics/Principles of Marketing
Hello, my name is Seline Decoteau and I am a senior at the W. I am from Pascagoula, MS and I am majoring in Marketing. I am also part of the MUW Women's Soccer Team. I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing soccer, and listening to music. I am looking forward to being a peer mentor this year because I want to give back to students on campus.

Maggie Ledbetter – Statistics
My name is Maggie Ledbetter. I am a senior from Belmont, MS., and I am majoring in Speech Pathology. For fun, I enjoy being able to relax and binge watch T.V. shows. I am so excited to be a peer mentor this semester and work closely with the students.

Mallory Parker – Chemistry / Biology / Engage Learning Community
My name is Mallory Parker, and I am a junior biology major from Mantachie, MS. I am a peer mentor for all Learning Skills classes as well as Biology and Chemistry classes. I am on the tennis team, and it is one of my favorite activities! I am excited about peer mentoring because I love seeing people learn and accomplish their goals

Hi, my name is Hailey Reel and I am a transfer student from East Central Community College. I am a senior majoring in Family Science with a minor in legal studies. Some fun things I like to do are read, spend time with my dog, and attend concerts.
