COLUMBUS, Miss.-- Mississippi University for Women’s RN to BSN Degree Program has been named “Best in the South” by Intelliget.com.

The site ranked The W’s program No. 15 nationally in The Top 66 RN to BSN Online Degrees.
Intelligent.com produces an Intelligent Score that ranks each university or college from 0 to 100. The site states, “the highest scoring universities are highly-regarded for their RN to BSN programs and relatively wallet-friendly, making it easy to earn back the cost of your degree.”
For the 2021 ranking, Intelligent reviewed 87 nationally-recognized accredited universities and colleges. Intelligent used an algorithm to collect, analyze and combine multiple rankings into a single score in addition to a return on investment assessment to produce the site’s ranking.

According to Intelligent.com, registered nurses (RNs) are in high demand with more than 371, 500 nurses need in the United States by 2026 and 700,000 nurses expected to retire in the next decade. The site also highlighted nurses who obtain a bachelor’s degree earn $25, 490 more annually compared to positions that only require a certificate or diploma.
