About Dr. Dorsey

Ph.D., Jackson State University

Dr. Dorsey holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major emphasis in Management and a minor in Economics from Jackson State University, where she also earned a M.B.A. She holds a B.B.A. in Banking & Finance from Mississippi State University. Her current research interests include Emotional Labor in Politics and the Increased Use of Forward Vertical Integration in the Funeral Services Industry. Dr. Dorsey has presented her research at conferences in the U.S. and abroad and has received awards for Best Conference Paper and Best Conference Presentation. She has published articles in Journal of Business and Economic Perspectives, Journal of Business, Industry, and Economics, and Journal of Contemporary Management Research.
