The Office of Undergraduate Research and Undergraduate Research Advisory Committee have established the OUR Assignment Repository. This collection is a peer-reviewed assignment repository for supporting undergraduate research at Mississippi University for Women. It contains syllabi, assignments, and activities from MUW Faculty who have created course-based undergraduate research opportunities for their students, all of which have been reviewed by members of the Undergraduate Research Advisory Committee. You can find more information on the repository at athenacommons.muw.edu/our-assign, including information for submitting and reviewing.
Thanks to the commitments of the MUW Alumni Association to support undergraduate research experiences, the OUR can offer up to $500 of funding per semester for students conducting or proposing to conduct research. Information on who is eligible and how to apply is at muw.edu/our/funding.
Office of Undergraduate Research
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) operates to support and encourage undergraduate researchers at the Mississippi University for Women. We provide opportunities for students to participate in projects, conferences, publications, and internships that focus on conducting research and creative exploration. We encourage interactions among students, the university, and the community—and through these interactions, we hope to produce MUW graduates who have valuable skills and impactful experiences. The OUR office is located in Fant Memorial Library.
