Effective Feb. 22, Mississippi University for Women will require face coverings only in instructional spaces and healthcare settings.

A space (e.g. classroom, laboratory, studio, conference room, auditorium) is to be considered as an instructional setting when classes are actively taking place in that space.

Masking will continue to be encouraged, and those wishing to mask in non-required spaces will continue to be supported. Employees may request masks be worn in private offices, and personal protective equipment remains available to campus.

The Campus Renewal Task Force will continue to monitor the public health situation weekly and respond in a manner that supports the university's mission and the safety of the campus community.
