Mearion Adams Named to Who's Who

Mearion Adams forged into a new arena for black students on campus. In 1973, she was the first black MSCW student named to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.  In the same year, she was President of Alpha Psi Omega (a national honorary dramatic fraternity) and was a member of Sigma Alpha Eta (speech and hearing honorary fraternity), Kappa Delta Epsilon (education honorary fraternity).  She participated in a dance group and was Treasurer of the Theatre Guild.  She graduated in 1973.
